Good afternoon, Faith Family.
By now you likely have heard that Governor Sisolak ordered all Nevada schools to be closed for the remainder of this school year; this includes Faith Lutheran. We will finish our school year in the online setting.
Although this is not the ending we were hoping for, it is our reality. While we have been engaged in discussions about end of the year events should they not be allowed to happen as planned, most of our focus has been on working through the unique details of maintaining a quality education while managing the many other aspects of our school and personnel while not on campus together.
We will now focus intently on finalizing plans and communicating them to you. Our plan is to send this information on or before Monday, May 4, 2020.
Thank you again for your helpfulness, generosity, patience, extra work, and calm in the midst of this unique time in American and world history.
