Dear Faith Family,

Yesterday, we had our final end of the year drive through event as our 6th and 7th graders were on campus to receive their yearbooks.  Today, we had our final meetings with faculty.

While we have been discussing the upcoming school year over the past few months, our attention and focus can now turn squarely to the start of the 20-21 school year.  As of today, we intend to have our students back on campus;  6th graders start on Monday, August 10, and 7-12 graders begin on Tuesday, August 11.  We will be fully prepared to follow recommended health guidelines to help mitigate health and safety risks as we return in August.

Our planning will not stop there.  We will be prepared for interruptions and have multiple contingency plans prepared which will allow us to move seamlessly into remote/online instruction or a hybrid model (partly online and partly on campus) should that become necessary.  Should a hybrid model become necessary, we will create a plan that allows for the maximum number of students to be on campus at any one time.  No matter what happens, we will be ready to deliver an excellent education to our students. As our plans develop, we will keep you informed.

COVID-19 did not stop us this year, and it will not stop us next year.

For 42 years on four different campuses, Faith Lutheran has been privileged to partner with tens of thousands of families in the Christian education of their children.  It is an honor and responsibility we humbly embrace.

God’s richest blessings to you for health and safety throughout the summer.  We all look forward to the return of our faculty, students and families in August.
