FLNN Mini Video-Broadcasting Behind the Scenes

Written by Mai Choy | Dec 12, 2017 11:05:02 PM

This was the second year Faith Lutheran's Varsity Football Team competed in the 4A Northwest Conference, Sunset Division.  This is the highest and most challenging division in the NIAA.  Games in this division are so popular, they grab the attention of local news stations.

Playoff games, in particular, garner huge audiences both on TV and in the stands.  Paul Remo, President of Atomic Television, gives us an exclusive look inside the technical side of a high school football game broadcast.  Stephen Schneider '18 from FL Mini Stories was allowed a behind the scenes look at the technical side of local broadcasting, providing a learning experience that could not be obtained in a classroom setting.

From H.S. football to concerts, you can expect coverage!  Groups like Atomic TV work with local news stations to show you live events.

Video footage, editing, and music by Stephen Schneider '18.
